Gypsies don't wash their hair everyday either.

With the grace of God, coffee and hairspray I will make it through today. Hopefully.
I went and saw a Cher concert.
Holy. Mutha. Of. FABULOUS!
I wore gold sequin shorts and was in hag heaven.
I have had a somewhat busy two weeks. I hosted a wedding shower for a friend getting married THIS WEEKEND. I don't just "host" showers, I go all out. It was so sweet and cute.

The campus I work at hosted a delegation of students from Denmark. The whole campus was worried these students would hate the small rural community college, but they loved it and our students!
Between the shower, the concert, hosting these students, providing activities, juggling my personal commitments I was exhausted. Last Saturday I slept late like a teenage boy. It was glorious.
Here are a few pictures of what has been going on. I lost about 500 photos due to a phone malfunction. A sailor would have blushed.

The only place I could find to do some serious mascara application.
My mother is by far my favorite person on the planet. I love her to the moon and beyond!
GOLD. SEQUIN. SHORTS!
Mom and I bought these at an estate sale 5 years ago. Never in a million years did I think my butt would be in them. Thanks to my Aunt Jodie for hemming these.
Sweet Treats at Bree's Shower! It was Alice in Wonderland themed. It was so cute! All the decor came out of my or my parent's house. We like stuff.

Friday Night is Alright for... reading and doing a hair treatment. (insert sigh)

Word.

Q liked the Red Velvet Mini Cupcakes mom and I won at the pie action Saturday night!
My hometown of Red Oak is known for helping out the community members in so many different ways.
On this night, the local Masonic Lodge sponsored a Pie Auction to help a local kindergarten girl battling cancer. The town raised $16,000 to help with family traveling to treatments and medical expenses. This is just one of the reasons I love this town.
Caught Reed playing with his sister's Build A Bear and stroller. When he realized what I was doing he threw it down.
Q decided she needed to help with the auction.
Mom and I bought a lemon pie we were sure she was holding flat against her chest. Quincee is hilarious.
Working on our "Bitch Face."

Yep.
Jamie Fink is one of my students and is constantly trying to argue with me about movies, music and pop culture. He said this is how I look when he makes a ridiculous comment about something and I respond with, "Get out of my office."

I am not sure if this was Monday or Tuesday. That is my life right now.
