Sour Summer Time

I suck at life. I will try my hardest to update more. Summer time is a hurry up and wait time for me. Work is extremely slow because hardly any students take classes. I have to find ways to stay busy at work but there are only so many times I can rearrage the furniture.
When I was uploading pictures I decided I take way too many pictures of my nephews and cousins. Sorry.
Business Card Hell.
KK and GJ with some light reading.
What is cooler than cool?
GJ on National Donut Day!
Friday Nights.
First set of twins born on the farm.

TCup and GJ
This is Jonea. We have been friends for 20+ years. We are total opposites but that is what makes our friendship perfect. We laugh all the time and get into some of the craziest situtations. I love her to the moon and can't wait to be in Jamacia with her!
My little ladies

Q turned 5! Mom and I made her cake.
I can't imagine anything in the world better than being an aunt.
Check out GJ's curl standing straight up!
LC and GJ!

When in doubt, buy them both.

 Love this outfit!
I am at the point in the warm season when I refuse to blowdry my hair or wash it daily. Big curly and wavy hair (and sometimes very dirty) will be a constant in my upcoming blogs. Sorry, but I'm not sorry.
Top: Old Navy
Jeans: Old Navy
Shoes: Some brand and I love them
One of the things I love the most about late spring and early summer are the nights. I drove back from McAlester last week with the windows down the whole time and I took the backroads. Bruce Springsteen was played as loud as possible and it made me happy I grew up and came to love the rural areas. The lightening bugs are brighters, the honeysuckel smells sweeter and the headlights are fewer.

I was the pool girl for a day or so. I might have had the net in my hand a total of 20 minutes. The rest of the time I was laying out with friends.

A handle of sangria and a Lilly dress. The makings of the perfect 10 Year Reunion.

Oh, Jonea.
ErrrMerrGerrrd! Bailey!
I love this guy so much! We were partners in crime and seemed to get out of trouble all the time. He is doing great things as a LPN. I couldn't be happier to have such a wonderful friend in my life. Bailey is the original Bay.
Jessica went to school with us from kindergaten through our senior year. She is such a sweet and caring person! We were all so happy she came to dinner with us.

I have been through so much with these two! Jonea since childhood and Krystal since high school and throughout college. Both are kicking ass and taking names.

Sour Summer Time

My pool partner on Sunday.
Q told me I needed to find her some of sunglasses like these. I am not on the hunt.

And that brings us to today.
I know I need to update my blog more often.
Skirt: Old Navy
Top: Pazza Bella
Shoes: Gianni Bini
Hair: Too dirty to discribe. Sleep was the priority this morning.

Adventures with GuyJack and down sizing

Guess what I did this weekend? I traveled. A lot.
Wednesday I went to Oklahoma City with my mother for her annual conference, but I mainly went to take care of my nephews. Oscar is a total teenager now:( He is questioning everything and mouthy as all get out, but I love him anyway. GuyJack sure did love him some Carly! He was really sweet this past weekend. 3-year-olds are pretty darling.

This was Wednesday's, July 31, 2013 outfit. I have to brag a little bit on this. The dress that I am wearing was purchased when I was a sophomore... in HIGH SCHOOL! Most of you know, I have struggled with my weight my whole life and I have now taken some steps to get that under control. Also, this was the best hair day I have had in months and I decided to cut my hair this past weekend. I might be regretting it now:(

GuyJack was my lunch date Thursday and Friday. The food and conversation were both delightful.
Getting Fuzzed Up at Fuzzy's in Bricktown.

Best part about the hotel for GJ... THE POOL! Isn't he adorable with the towel around his waist?!?

Saturday, Manfriend and I took GJ to the Oklahoma Aquarium. Not sure who was more excited, Chance or GJ. We had a great time and GJ was very brave touching the different fish.

Sometimes my family doesn't think things through. Saturday night my mom met my brother and the rest of his family to watch the Monkees in concert. GJ was left with Chance and I. Needless to say, GJ basically got three milkshakes to get him happy. Manfriend was a champ.
This is a result of three milkshakes and being very sleepy: Carly with a baby.... in a coffee shop/bar at 10 pm. My aunt KK and my mom wanted to show my bother this coffee show (which was really cool) and we met them there after the concert. GJ was beyond exhausted.

Sunday morning, Chance and I went and got breakfast at Brookside By Day and might or might not have shared a pitcher of mimosas. After that we went shopping and spent the day looking for the best deals for tax free weekend. I needed tops, but all I got were pants. Story of my life.

Monday, August 5, 2013
I have been wearing an insane amount of blue lately. Check out those pants! and my new bangs:)
And this is today's, August 6, 2013, outfit. The dress is from Gap and the shoes are Sperry wedges. I do rock a lot of polka dots. BUT! The best part about this outfit is the size of the dress:)
